How easy is it to speak to your pastor?

Our church has about 300 people. I am out of town right now and emailed him last night. I got a response this morning. He is very easy to reach and very eager to talk with people in his congregation. I too have my pastor's cell phone.

I have been to churches where I have never met the pastor. I went to a church for 3 years in Charleston, SC where I never met the pastor. He came into my work and didn't even recognize me and avoided talking to me. Granted, the church had about 1500-1800 members, but... I also went to Cornerstone for about a year, where John Hagee preaches. I never met him and I tried calling the church to ask a question once and I couldn't talk to him.

The pastor at the church I am going to seems ok. He also seems very busy and is under a lot of pressure with organising his week.

I am new at this church from being one of Jehovah's Witnesses all my life and think the balance in the church I go to is wrong. This poor man seems to do it all alone and is obviously under pressure.

I share nothing with him and tell him nothing as I feel it will add to his pressure and I have a zillion like questions.. haha

Lol, I know how that is! Pastor Paul, bless his soul, i badgered him like crazy question after question. He emailed me one day telling me how much he loved it and misses it. Ask him your questions, I dont think he would be as hassled as you think.
