How does God communicate with us??

Thats exactly the way the Lord communicates with me. What I mean is when I need the Lord's opinion or His answer I ask Him about it and when I open the Bible the answer is right there in the verse that I am looking at.

There might be something the Lord wants you to understand, in regard to that verse.

If you feel it is important, then SEEK the knowledge to be found in it.
Seek, Knock, Ask.

Take the verse read it, re-read it, and re-read it over and over until it becomes a part of you, if you feel it's for you from God, then it must be important to Him as well as you.

Take the verse apart, check out every definition of every word within that verse, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of what is being said in the verse, not just the superficial understanding we get while reading.

Look for other places in the Bible where the same thing is said, maybe even by other authors,...(A Center Reference in your Bible or a Concordance).

If you Seek, Knock, and Ask , God will honor your effort, you will gain the Knowledge Understanding, and Wisdom to be found within that verse.

God has unlimited way to communicate to us other than via dreams or visions.

LUKE.16: =
27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house,
28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’
29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’
30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’
31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’”

JOHN.20: = Seeing and Believing
24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”
So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!”
27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

2TIMOTHY.3: =
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Lord might find a number of ways to communicate with us, but in the end, I think we develop personal relationships with him and talk with him as we talk with anyone else. His words aren't audible, but we learn to hear him.

It is certainly one way. In my opinion, God communicates to us in different ways.

It is when we start to idolize one particular method and depend on that method exclusively to hear from God that we get into trouble. God wants us to look to Him and walk with Him, not a use particular technique.
