How does Christianity make you happy?

So you do not recognize the God of the Bible? Where in the Bible does He say, " Do what makes YOU happy because that makes ME happy."? Its not off topic because it quotes Gods word about fear.

I recognise the God of the Bible. I do not recognise the God you describe in your interpretation of the Bible. Those sre veey different things. Your posts are off topic: the topic iis how Christianity makes you happy. You said in your first post it that happiness is not important to you. That's fine and was on topic. Your subsequent posts were trying to show that you are right and I am wrong and were not. I am not going to respond to you again, on this thread st least.

I apologize for trying to show you why I am afraid of the Lord in my search for religious " happiness"....which I do not feel we can begin to comprehend having once in heaven! We have to get there first, and it is true that the Bible has many references to things God Himself said that we do not want to hear.

He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
Exodus 15:2

I guess I am weirded out because you know how the Bible says your young men will have visions and old men will dream dreams in the last days? There has been a mass phenomenon in the past year from people all over the world, diff religions, diff languages who are being shown hell by Jesus with Him saying, " Time is out! Tell my people this place is real and I am losing mankind by the day because they do not repent. No one is even trying! They need to turn back to Me or my gift of salvation is worthless. After is too late" These people describe the same things- it is shocking and freaking me out.
I would have answered your question like " through worship music and knowing I have strong faith is where I find happiness" but the more I am learning, the more disillusioned I think we have become over the last 2000 years...and I am terrified!
