get a pet that is a color besides brown or black?

Here's my story... I saw all the cute pets when I started posting here and I had to have one - I really liked the bright purple and pink ones! So I did some surfing around... but could not find one that was a bright color, so I saw NutterButter and thought he was adorable, so adopted him. But I was still wondering, how do a get a pet that is a bright color?

Sorry took little time to answer....
yes you can get different colors for your pet if you own a pet... go in blue section to pets....change pets...
then can change either
name for 250
color for 100
type for 500
gender for 350...
