  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I think the best thing to do is keep much of your stuff online ....... you can organise it as you go along , and private drafts under control panel is good ....:)

Sorry I came across this thread a little late... actually stumbled upon it via a non related Google search. Anyway... here are a few links that may help you with gathering/maintaining your pertinent info:

TreePad Lite (freeware) - I've used this program for years, and still love it. It's very light weight on your system resources and basically keeps your info into a neat tree style text based database.

TreeDBNotes Free - Just ran across this one recently, does what TreePad does with a few more bells and whistles.

TreeDBNotes Pro - $28.99 USD - but have seen it recently at http://www.bitsdujour.com/ for $14

Ultra Recall - Standard/$39 Professional/$99 - Have not personally used it, but have heard rave reviews from many who have... just a little spendy for me right now.

WhereIsIt - I think it's like $39 -Sometimes, just finding your data is the hard part, and this is where this software really shines. No matter the type of file... it will find and catalogue it for you. Have used it for a couple years, and still like it.

hope it helps :)
