How do you manage if you have kids?

I am looking for others or just some advice on getting a divorce or seprated with kids. And really no job or family around. I feel right now I'm stuck in a situaion that I can't get out of but in my heart feel I need to.

It is a decision that only prayer should lead you to do. If it is His will, then He will open doors for you. I will pray for you!

My husband and I have been seperated for two years now, and on the path to divorce for one year. I am the sole caregiver for my children, and I haven't been able to find a well paying full-time job! The economy in my state is horrible!

How do I hope to take care of my kids with a severe lack of family support? I'm trying to find work in a school. Currently I'm substitute teaching as much as possible. At least I'm home and available when my kids need me, and it pays a few bills. This is my solution for now.

Since I don't know your circumstances I would say to start by talking to your pastor. When I say this I'm assuming you have a wise pastor who can counsel you on this decision. When it comes to regular counseling for healing I suggest a licensed family therapist, but that is another story.

Your first decision is if leaving is the right thing to do, so start there.

Are you a mom of little one's? Mine are teens which is simpler but comes with it's own problems. Here they have single parenting groups and business meetings to get others to help hire you,promote home business or just support you and I go to those every Thurs morning just to help others as i have a home business that employs 5 others.
