Daryl, I didn't know you lived in Canada! For some reason I thought you lived in...well...I don't really even know where I thought you lived, but it wasn't Canada. LOL!
The insurance there is outstanding, is it not? Tell Honor that! There's no millionaire doctors running around, no huge lines, and people can get treatment when they need it. Beautiful.
Even though I will have insurance from here on out, you watch, I'm going to continue fighting for national healthcare here.
Thanks again Sentipente.
Doc, you are so sweet! I was very concerned for a while, and I don't know why. I don't know how many times I have to see God working in my life before it finally sinks in!
I hadn't even thought to ask Him about a place to live (we were living with my folks at the time), and one day I sent up a prayer to Him that it would be better for everybody if my family got a place of our own. Within just a couple of days, that door opened.
The fuel pump on my car is going out and I have to turn off the A/C going up a hill and then FLOOR it (such a waste of gas) which absolutely humiliates my teenager, because even then we're creeping along and we've been honked at before. It groans (loudly) if it gets below a half a tank, and it has started almost dying when I turn right. LOL
Last night is the first time I thought to pray about it. I really need something reliable for school that won't leave me stranded, so we'll see!
This scholarship definitely put my mind at ease about the next two years. I can't even begin to tell you what a wonderful opportunity it is. They'll help with gas too, which isn't that big of a deal for ME, but it certainly could be for others. I live very close to the college.
I'm not a big fan of gubberment, but I am thankful that there are programs out there to help people like me, and I have every intention of paying it forward when I get out of school.
