  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Just want to see if there is any correlation between how you hold the Wii controller, and left/right handed. I was with four people today, 2 left handed and two right handed, one left and right handed person held the controller one way, and one left and right handed person held the controller the other way.

So what hand do you hold the Joystick part (the left part in the photo)

I'm left-handed, but I'll probably hold it as pictured. I've grown up using a mouse right-handed, and it looks like the wiimote will serve the button function as a mouse does (though perhaps without the movement). Since I'm already used to using a thumbstick left-handed, the pointer being in my left hand sounds like it'd be natural.

basically, i'm left handed....i hold the wii mote in the left hand and the nunchuck w/ my right hand. so far im not a fan of the wii....

the only game i loved that i've played was boxing on wii sports....i've played redsteel, everything on wiisports except for golf, and unfortunalety havent been able to try dbz:tenkaichi 2, sb:b, or LoZ:TP. we borrowed a friend's wii sun night while he went to church to run the cameras, then he came over and played a lil bit. we didnt play zelda cuz its one player...and all he had was redsteel, sports, and zelda. we quickly switched to gears of war.

ok I am left handed but I am a FPS [first person shooter] guy so Im used to the joystick in my right hand and the "wii mote" in my left.

At the moment Im not really a fan of the wii. The only reason why I would buy the thing is for the Zelda game. I was one of the 1st people to pre-buy the game when it was set up to come out on the "purple lunch box." Needless to say I went and got my money back.
