How do you change your Facebook password?

The stupid change password means knowing the old password but I cannot remember it.

On facebook.com click on forgotten password, and enter your email/phone number you used to make your account. Facebook will then give you the option of receiving a code via email or text click the one you prefer then check your email/phone. Enter the code and push ok. You should then be prompted to make a new password make a new password and then you're all set that new password can be used to login Facebook from now on.

I think I tried that. The problem is the 2 step thing now.
On my phone and I want to remove it but there is no option.

The 2 step thing? Oh where you've got to identify pictures and stuff? I've never been able to pass that either because I don't know 99% of the people on my Facebook. I used to add people for games and people I knew from discord. Umm maybe you can try calling Facebook and seeing if they can reset your password? That's the only way I know to reset your password.

If you got Windows PC like Dell you can go to settings and type in password will bring it up if you do save your Facebook password. I used to have Facebook but not no more.
