How do you avoid getting punished by god for this?

The Bible is pretty clear that if a believer belongs to God, his life will demonstrate a change, most particularly in obedience to what a person knows is right. By that measure, I am unable to justify myself.

Yet I find myself unable to deny what I say that I believe, and my heart is unable to remain antagonistic to what I know is right. I very dearly desire closeness with my Creator.

If you knew me personally, I would have to say, decide for yourself what I really believe. I thank God that he is the one in the end who decides. Justice is beautiful.

Life will be what it is. Our goals are not about this life but the next. Even so the difference of living this life with the blessing of God vs without just makes things different. We still get sick, we still get hurt, we still have victories. We live life but we do it with peace in our hearts and joy. Sometimes things get worse than for non believers but we have that eternal assurance inside. Psalm 73 speaks a lot about the wicked and lost man vs man of God. It's written from the perspective that why does it seem the wicked prosper and I don't. Then it comes out he realizes the wicked's gain is just for this lifetime, then come hell and torment eternally. Where the believer goes on in the kingdom to come eternally. Big difference. I've always loved Psalm 73.

Do you think believers like christians should be protected against themselves? I mean, if they go around trying to make others believe there`s a life after this and not worry so much, aren`t they in reality just trying to waste others lifes?

I can not waste your life for you, only you can do that. Your life is wasted if you never came to Christ and then died in that state. That would be a shame but it's your choice. Conviction come by God and the Word of God not by us. It would be like blaming the speaker of the sound system that projected somebodies message to you for the message itself.

If you believe something just because I do, you're a fool. It's the one that comes behind us and speaks to you internally you want to pay attention to. We just introduce Him.

No, because when I try in my own strength it is a sure failure. My reliance is on God to produce the needed love.
