No I never ducked your questions. I answered them so much, I over answered them by giving a plethora of information.

Yes, I am, just as they did in Acts 2:38 and 41

Just as they did in Acts 8:36-39

Just as Paul did in Acts 22:16

Will you answer the question now?
See above.

Why can a person NOT be saved without repenting and confessing when John 3:15-16 says you will be saved with believing? How do you determine that?
If you believe the Gospel of the Kingdom ,you will have no problem rejecting the ideals of man in favour of those of the Kingdom.

They were baptizing before Jesus died.

A mock baptism. John was to "prepare the way" Mark 1:2/ Matthew 3:3
See also Acts 19:2-4

The Church/kingdom didnt start till after Christs death friend

Mock baptism? Oh my. It is the Blood of Jesus that cleanses from sins, not water baptism.

Are you rejecting Jesus' Blood atonement? His Blood was shed before the thief died.

"Repent"! Amen.

As expected you ignored the Verse and you claim to go by the bible only, you don't you just pick and choose. If there is something you don't like "be baptized" you ignore it.

That's not the point and you know it. The point in order to be saved you must repent and be baptized, not just one thing.

You keep obsessing over water baptism and I'll stick with the Blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 9:22 , and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

No I am not. Do you go by all Scripture or not? If you do than you can not just dismiss one verse because you do not like it.

You're still not answering! Show me "mock baptism" in the NT.

I can't tell if your being facetious with this. I have been answering you. I have answered every question you've had with more than enough scriptural evidence.

This is a new question. One to which you didn't have to ask IF YOU READ THE SCRIPTURE I GAVE.

Read Acts 19. You'll see (at least I hope you will. the verses are pretty clear here too)

You keep obsessing over water baptism and I'll stick with the Blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 9:22 , and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

And no wonder WHY he would say that in light of scripture like John 3:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Hmmmmmmmmm........ Reminds me of Acts 2:38, 41, and 47:

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

So, when one is baptized, they enter into the kingdom. Guess where else you can find this?

Colossians
1:13-14
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins

How are you "translated" to have redemption and forgiveness? If Acts 2:38 wasn't clear enough, Paul tells you here in Colossians 2

10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

HEY! Paul doesn't contradict himself when he said that in the Romans letter

Romans 6
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Oh maybe Paul mentioned something here too in addition to Romans 6
Galatians 3
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

WHOAAAAA! Peter agrees with Paul!
1 Peter 3
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ

What do you know! Paul was baptized into water to enter the kingdom.

Acts 22
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

The Titus letter seems to agree with this
Titus 3
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost

The Ethiopian eunuch knew that that is what he should do
Acts 8
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Wow. Acts 8:35-39 alone by itself is completely damaging to your case.

Philip preached Jesus - When you inherently preach Jesus, obviously one thing that is taught, is being baptized. It is quite obvious that this was taught because in the next verse, the Ethiopian asks, "heres water, what hinders me to be baptized?".

The prerequisite to being baptized is quite obviously belief in Christ Jesus and all the things Philip taught to the Eunuch. Matthew 28:19-20 says that we are to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

So what happened next???

The eunuch confessed that he believed (Matthew 10:32-33) and Philip and the eunuch went "DOWN INTO THE WATER".

We know he was immersed into the water because
1- the Greek word baptizo means to "to dip, immerse, as like a sunken vessel"
2- They "came up out of the water"

Thats what baptism is. Thats what you have to do 1) to enter the kingdom 2) to put on Christ 3) to have remission of sins 4) to obtain the Holy Spirit 5) to have spiritual blessings when after you put on Christ Eph1:3

Way too much scripture in support of baptism for you to be fooling around like you are. The bible is written at the 6th grade reading level. So I know you can understand it. You just reject what the bible says to you because you dont like it. Fine. Thats up to you, but it will be a sad day when it comes time to answer for it.

Water cannot wash away sins. Only the Blood of the Lamb can. You're trying to be saved by works. Only the Blood of the Lamb can wash away sins.

John 1:29
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Only the Blood of the Lamb can.
This means that by the King dying on the cross, God was able to usher in the Kingdom to replace the adversarial world of man. It's all about the Kingdom the only thing His Gospel was about. We still have choice whether or not to reject the ways of the world man has made in our image.

You just admitted that water baptism is not necessary for Christian salvation!

No I didn't. This is funny now. It's like you pull things out of context on purpose to get a rise out of people.

This is what I said in that specific post you quoted:

For the last time, I am not saying that. I am reading scripture, and passing it on to you. I am not saying it, the bible speaks for itself with the book chapter and verses within it.

Let me pose one of the questions you avoided:
1-If someone believes in Christ, yet dies before they can repent and confess, are they saved? Keep in mind Luke 13:3 and Matthew 10:32-33.

To spell it out for you, I basically said baptism IS necessary however I am not the one saying it, scripture is. That is why I said "I am not saying that", because scripture is.
