HOW do we practice righteousness to be righteous in God’s eyes?

I know that I have done wrong and I want to do the right things because they are right. Also because God want us all too.

I feel so bad when I do wrong, not sure if it us right, newbie struggle with my faith due to past experiences. I prayed asking to make me righteous and understand that is because I do not wish to do wrong. I want to be with God in his eyes and I wanted all to see. Nit that is becsuse I have sinned. But it is not about that, is it. It shows me how weak I am faith wise
I realised this yesterday and that I am fearful of God, getting it wrong and letting him down, which is s burden.

which is extremely important.
Now, you need to know what God's word says
and try to be obedient to what it says.
Jesus says 4 times in John 14 (paraphrasing):
"Those who love Me will obey My command-ments."
