How do we know

How do we know that Jesus is the real deal and not some prophet that made this all up to get attention?
I've been pondering this. And how do we kno that the parts of the bible that jesus's followers wrote, are not lies and stories? Can anyone answer or even guess this? I've lately been in doupt with this topic, i just dont understand.
If you don't know the answer, atleast give me your guess. Please.

I know because Jesus lives today. He speaks to me thru His word, other people, nature, circumstances .....

He can live in your heart too, just invite Him in.

Revelation 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

Romans 10:9-11
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

This is how I know I'm saved, accepted, forgiven and a child of God, a part of the Kingdom. It's not based on feelings, but on God's Word.
