How do I get in on this and start one, I have a good idea for one? Do I just jump into it?

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would suggest first reading all of the standard guides to roleplaying on here, I would particularily suggests going to the CFRPG Help Center, and asking the members there for help, andn also lookign at the first page. (Don't expect immediate reeplies, not everyone is on at every time 
. If you don't want to do that, I can help you start an rpg. Basically you want a basic plot (like defeat the attackers or some key thing) and you want to list what races are allowed and stuff such as that. Then you make an ooc (out of character) topic where people can join your rpg.

Narmegil has given you some very good advice. Make sure you read the rpg tips (they are usually sticky's at the top). Have you written in one yet? That always helps to get your feet wet and learn how things work. If you need any help I'll be glad to answer any questions. Just shoot me a Private Message. Have fun!
