How do I sell my old video games?

I have some Nintendo, N64, and sega genesis video games. Where can i sell them? I tried to sell them over ebay but no one would buy them. Should I throw them anyway?

If there is a local EBgames or GameStop, they both buy games. If you are willing to throw in the systems, I may be willing to buy some of them. PM me if you are interested.

If you want to get rid of them and not get much money, just go to gamestop or something like that. They hardly pay, but you do get something. If you go on Ebay you could probably get much more money for your games. It's up to you

Just throw them away! And if there is anything that can be suggestive in them there should be no question. Do you really need money? It's almost useless.

Have a yard/garage sale and sell them for no more than $5 each. It's not piracy because you are selling the original copies. It's just like selling old books or something like that.

I suggest eBay. There are collectors out there that'll pay alot for old games. I sold like 6 Xbox games at EB Games and they gave me $30 store credit. If I wanted cash, I'd get $12. Horrible deal.

I actually have to totally agree with Believer-In-Christ on this one. If you post up signs around saying "yard sale going on, selling video games for cheap" or something along those lines, you should be getting a bunch of people who will be happy to buy something. Just get lots of signs, the more the better

If they're not violent or anything like that, you might want to make someone's day by giving them some. Isn't that better than all the money you'd get and effort? Just an idea, there's nothing wrong with any of the above ideas.

Gamestop or EB if theres one nearby, you might not get much, but you can get rid of even the worst and unpopular games.

Then again, if you have super-rare or just poular games, then you will probably get more, but theres a better chance you can get alot more on Ebay from game collectors looking for rare genesis or 64 games.
BTW, Gamestop and EB keep some games, like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, sometimes the first Zelda for N64 behind the counter at retail price.

I've heard that if your Blockbuster has a special game section, you can get a lot more there than you'll get at EBGames or Gamestop.

Go to EB games. they give the best prices. They have a deal on right now where you get 100 bucks store credit if you trade in an XBox or PS2 with 5 games. 50 bucks for an N64 or PS1 with 5 games

Thats the way to go.

It also depends what kind fo game you have also.

Like a good RPG, FF3, or Secret of Mana, easily you should get around $30-50 for them. Sega games might not have any resale on them.

Have you tried listing them Amazon.com? I've had some luck there - not with their auction site, but with the fixed price listings.

Of course that's always a choice ATTC, but I was just making that suggestion if he did want to make some money. You could always feel good for giving them away too, something that money can't buy

I suggest keeping them, no, seriously! Keep them and in like 10 years they'll be classics because 2 or 3 NEW systems will be out by then and people will want to buy them for MUCH more!

Depends on the games. Not many Atari games are worth more then $5-$10, and many are worth $1-$2.

BTW, GameStop will not buy anything before the PSX generation. (SNES, Genesis, NES, etc). I don't think EB Games does anymore either, especially not now that GameStop bought them.

just go to any video game store chain (GameStop, Funcoland...), but i'd keep them for the memories because you won't get much for them at all...
