What? Being that I'm a Christian and all? There must be some misunderstanding here, I don't assume anything about God, I don't assume that God even exists, I don't even know if he does exist. Is the bible true? I don't know. Probably not. It's a fun read though... It just makes more sense to me than there not being a God so hence, me is a theist. Unless you were referring to something else of course, in which case, feel free to name it and I'll see what I can do.

You could bne right, but I disagree. The definition omnipotence is defined as unlimited power. It includes omniscience because clearly it follows that an all powerful entity would also be all knowing. If an entity is said to possess unlimited power, but does not know everything, then it is in fact not all powerful. The term is all inclusive of its other qualities.
Again I refer to the concept of unlimited power; if God is all powerful, then he has the power to make himself not all powerful. That is what it means when it is said that God is everything.
Correct about Bible not saying anything, however see my above statements.

A being could be omnipotent without being omniscient.
An omnipotent being has the ability to make himself omniscient, obviously, but he may not choose to do so or not even know he can due to the lack of forementioned omniscience.

Dear FutileRhetoric. You have tried to learn about God, if you really want to know God, try and do what Jesus tells us, while He lived on Earth. Jesus told us; unless we believe like children, we will not enter God`s Kingdom. Jesus also gave us 2 Commandments, which contain all 10 Commandments, which God gave us. 1) Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 2) Love each other, as you love yourselves, or put it a bit differently, say, or do to others, as you would others say, or do to you. This sounds quite easy, FutileRhetoric, but it is quite hard to do. Only with the help and guidance of Jesus, will we find that it becomes easier and easier, as we live accordingly. Yes, I was referring to your assumption that God must obliterate itself to become not all powerful. It's not logical because God is the One; nothing is greater assuming that God is omnipotent. If God destroys Itself then since it is a paradox, it can still be God while not existing. The irony, correct me if I'm wrong, was that you dismissed my reply by pointing out that I made an assumption. This is a discussion about God and things must be assumed in order for ideas to be communicated. If we didn't assume anything about God then there wouldn't be much to say would there?

You may have misunderstood my message. I am saying that I could read every book in the world about allah, yaweh, krishna, odin, zues, etc, and even if I find some God and believe in it, I will never possess the epistemology for knowing if what I believe is really God, or just a god-concept.

I have never assumed anything throughout this, to assume is to act on information without basis. I never assume, I know or I speculate.

I suppose it depends on how assumption is defined. In this context I mean it as something to be considered possibily true for the sake of discussion. If it weren't possibily true, then no assumption is made, thus no discussion to particpate in. I agree with you, speculate is a better word to describe it.
