So could this have been an answer to my request to at least know if it would happen?

I want to believe it is, but I also don't want to falsely have hope my prayer will be answered.

There's no way of knowing. However, it's often said to people who ask the question you've asked us that God moves in his own time and we cannot expect snap answers to our petitions. Therefore, and although I say that there's no way of knowing if that was a sign from God or not, acting on it in the way you have decided to do is probably the correct course of action.

Well if it begins with "Dear human" or "Hello user" it probably isn't from God because God will use your actual name when he messages you. Also might want to check the IP address and see if it originated from heaven or hell.

That actually was a reminder to check something else -
see in Scripture there
are many people whose prayers God does not answer.

So, if one of those descriptions (in Scripture) fits, then
unless there's an exception , the answer isn't from God ?
(This is so common in life, all around us, and on this forum, it is worth noting
for anyone who cares to know the Truth, and has a BIBLE AVAILABLE.)
