  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A lot of people say " You must have a personal relationship with Jesus". Other say " Follow the commandments" and a whole bunch of stuff. I am having trouble because I think there is so much to remember. Being selfless, following rules, having personal relationships, and much more. It's really quite a lot and it is stressing me out. I need help!

Yes, Jasper, for Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me" (John 14:6). Write me anytime and I will share the big picture.

I hope your posting is sincere, I over wrote so please forgive me.

How to get to Heaven. Fast answer, You just go.

Long answer

At the moment that Jesus' spirit ascends to the Father in Heaven, after the Father in Heaven slays him via the Roman soldier's Blade. ( Gen 22 is completed ).

Then the Father in Heaven, Preforms His act and Spits the Temple Curtain ( Opens
Heaven ). Mark 15:38 & 2 other verses.

This is the completion of the Second Passover.

The first Passover has the lamb slain by blade, the blood marks (saves), The Father
in Heaven via Moses, splits the Red Sea and the Jews enter Israel and are Free.
(The Jews have to take action to be free, they have to cross)
The First Passover is a dry run for the Second, Just as Gen 22 was for the Father-Son
Sacrifice.

The Second Exodus, is when Jesus ( The Lamb ) does the Will of the Father and
allows Himself to be Slain by Blade, ( as Isaac would have allowed ).
The Living Blood ( mark ) the Living Water ( cleansing ) flows onto the Earth.
Jesus, Cries, Why have thou forsaken me. ( He is waiting for the Blade Thrust)
The Father in Heaven is pausing, as He loves His Son, ( Abraham paused too,)
They give him the mixture on the sponge to relieve his pain and to prepare his body for
the Blade Thrust. The Blade is Thrust and the Blood and Water Flows from His heart and chest
cavity. If he was dead, He would have been Blue and His Blood, would have drained to his feet.

Creation is now, Marked and Cleansed and can now enter into the Holy of Hollies.
( Heaven or the Presence of The Father in Heaven ). Come unto the Father.
The spirit crosses over from Earth to Heaven and is free.

That means simply, "God opens a door, you go in."

Since all ( except me ) believe that Jesus was dead before the Blade was Thrust,
as the Romans at the scene reported and it is written ( Words were changed ).
Creation has been lead to believe that all words are intact and that all words are true
under the threat of punishment and because, Earth Kings, popes have ordained this decree.
Humans have parroted that ever since.
The Blood and Water they have faith in, was dead as-well and is not valid under Jewish
Law, The Lamb has to be slain by blade while it is alive, If is was dead, It would be
Blemished. A Lamb that was slain, by whipping, puncturing small wounds in the scalp,
spike holes in the hands and feet and asphyxiated, would be rejected.
A unblemished ( no sin ) Lamb slain by Blade would be valid and accepted.

Because all who believe that the Blood and Water is dead, due to the Crucifixion's
time line, can not see that the Temple is Open and claim that it is symbolic.
Instead they as offered the Tomb, in which they gladly enter.
Thus instead of entering the Temple and being Unto the Father in Heaven,
They enter the Tomb ( decoy ).

There they join the Jews and face away from the open Temple and instead
cast their gazes toward the future and conjurer for a coming, 1st or second. ( Waiting over 2000 Years for
their Earth Jeweled City ( Bride ).

The Temple is not symbolic, you can actually Go in, If you Believe and avoid all the
rules, regulations, stories, sermons, guilt trips, statements of faith, personal walks,
Etc, Etc, Etc, ( never ends ).

You have to believe that the Blood and Water have to alive at the time of the Blade Thrust or you can not see the Open Temple.
That is just the way it is. Not my rules.

It's a puzzle and I just placed the Old Passover the New Passover and it did not fit.
Change the Blood and Water to Being Alive and and it's a perfect fit.

If you read the Gospels, you will not find any mention of blood and the only mention
of actual Living DNA linked Living Water is at the Spear Thrust.

So why would a Low ranking foot soldier, Spear the Heart of a blue Jesus, after He
was declared dead? ( He had no choice, as he was under the Will of the Father in
Heaven).

I hope you can understand this. To the others I will leave you with.
Jesus came in the Flesh. If you do not understand this test, Look it up.

To really understand, you must enter into the Temple and have a understanding of spiritual psych warfare
and the use of decoys.
You must figure out why there is 2 infants running Parallel in Luke.

PS: At the end of the Bible timeline. In the end of the so-called revelations, believers
end up back on Earth in a Jeweled City with no walls. There will also be no need for
light. This is the New Earth.
Of course the Sun Burns Out. And the Jewels are just ice.

New Heaven, New Earth, Right.

Two things are all that's required, one comes from the other.

1. Belief in what Jesus has done in taking your place of punishment.
2. Repentance on behalf of the sinner.

If you really believe in what Jesus has done for you then your repentance should come quite naturally.

That's all God asks off you.

Mark 1:15
"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

By the way repentance is not just telling God your sorry, it's a change of heart. It's where you notice your sinful state and choose to live not for the sinful pleasures of this life but try to live in holiness before God. Don't get me wrong, you may still sin in this life. But it is the ATTITUDE towards it that matters most.

The Lutheran response is much more simple and beautiful.

This is, I think, the easiest to understand (better than me trying to explain):
http://www.princeofpeacelutheran.org/belief.htm said:
We believe that God sends His Holy Spirit to announce to us the good news that is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit comes to us through God's Word and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion.

We do not believe that we come to God of our own efforts, strength, desire, or decision. But rather God decides that He loves us, that He wants to be our Father and we His children. So He sends His spirit to us to convey the riches of Christ's gift of forgiveness so that we may be restored to God. We believe we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ's action upon the cross. But faith itself is God's gift to us created by the Holy Spirit through the means of grace: God's Word, Baptism, and Communion.

Works are signs of faith, not a requirement to have it. Obeying the law is not something that will get you into heaven. Why? We will never be good enough (or perfect enough) to obey them. Our lives being on the path of good can only be done with the Holy Spirit's intervention (sanctification).

lcms.org said:
Faith, big or small, strong or weak, as long as it trusts in Jesus' merits, will SAVE. Saving faith is not contingent upon the amount of works one does, but is a gift of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel. Trust in Jesus above all for forgiveness and life eternal. Work while it is day before night comes when we cannot work, knowing that God has given us a purpose and things to do for Him in this short little life.

When people say a "personal relationship" with Jesus they mean that they come to him in prayer when they have hardships and things to be joyful about, and trust him. There is an open channel of communication. There is a oneness. We don't just know of him, we know HIM.

1. Accept the grace of God and the atonement from Jesus' death on the cross.
2. Grow and maintain a relationship with God, and allow the Holy Spirit to change your perspective over time from the world to that of the Kingdom. Your behavior should change too as you strive towards the goal with every effort.

1. (called Justification) makes you an adopted heir.
2. (called Sanctification) prepares you for Heaven.

#1 gets you in. #2 determines how much of our worldly nature is still left to be burned away when we get there... where we may "suffer loss".

1 Corinthians 3:10-15:
10By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. 11For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. 14If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

Then stop stressing.

Look, there's gonna be some tough things that you'll realize in good time that you need to do. That will come.

But the critical thing to do is to rely on Jesus like your life depends on it. Because it does.

What would you do, this being true? Would you pile up stuff and ideas that might interfere with what's really important? Well, you might. But you'd grow out of it.

You're already seeing you need to.

Honestly, everything Christian grows out of what Christ has done for you and how you react to that. It goes on and grows on for all the years of your life.

For instance -- why would you forgive others? Because you realize the extent of what you've been forgiven.

So begin with that reliance on Christ. Find out what He's about. Learn about how He sees you. And you'll grow.
