Hi. I want to officially become a Christian in the Roman Catholic Church by being baptized. I am in the United Kingdom. What is the procedure? I am 36 years old.
Generally the proper way is to contact the priest at your nearest Catholic parish church. They will direct you on what you need to do. In the USA if you are not Catholic then you will likely have to go through their Rite of Christian Initiation Adults (RCIA) program, Typically that culminates in baptism at Easter. Since that is a few weeks away you would be in the next RCIA class. During the interim time you would be expected to attend Mass and live more or less in a Catholic manner.

Hello! I’m a convert as well but I was baptized outside the Church and there was no need to do it again in the RCC. You might inquire of other’s experiences in the Catholic forum: One Bread, One Body - Catholic
