How do I bow down?

God gave Man abilities. Man has the ability to rape torture and murder a child.

God limited Man's abilities. Man cannot sprout feathered wings from his back and fly.

God gave Man choice. Man can choose to rape torture and murder a child.

God limited Man's choices. Man cannot sprout feathered wings from his back and fly.

I can bow down to a God that doesn't allow man to sprout feathered wings from his back and fly. I'm a lil' butt hurt because it would be hella coo if I could. But really It's no big deal.

How do I bow down to a Monster that allows man to rape tortue and murder a child?

How do I bow down to a Monster that allows man to rape tortue and murder a child?

My mom told me one day as we were cooking not to touch the top of the stove. I ignored her and got badly badly burned. From that day forward I was very wary of stoves...still am.

God set up a guideline "Don't eat that fruit". We ignored him, and have been suffering the consequences ever since, even though a majority of the consequences were not immediate.

Other guidelines he set up include "Don't torture and murder children", and yet some people ignore these guidelines, to horrific ends. We don't know what justice will be met out to them in the future, or what gain the child received.

We look at the here and now and say "My lord why are you so awful", when in reality the perpetrator hasn't gotten away with anything.

That's also the curse of free will. I would rather love the God I do of my own volition, and be able to accept his love freely, rather than be an automaton who has to do it due to programming.

With free will comes the price to choose sin over God, and we all suffer the consequences, but the reward of loving God is and will be greater than any suffering caused by our curse.

Freewill. Yes there are some negative things that come along with freewill, but without freewill there would be no love, no personality, and no individuality. There would be nothing that makes people people. This life is all about separating who is willing to use their freewill to obey God from those who are going to use their freewill to disobey God. Only those who are willing to use their freewill to obey God will be in Heaven, thus in Heaven all the negative aspects of freewill will not be present.
