How do blessings work?

I'm new to this site and not sure how blessings work and how you give people things...but I'd love to know!

It would be great to be able to have an avatar or signature eventually...

for a avatar go to the main page and on the top right cor ner there will be your profile and click on that and go to avatars on your profile page

When you get a certain amount of blessings you can have an avatar and signature. You get blessings from various places... from posting posts, from other people, you can pay 10 blessings to do a quiz and sometimes get some back, but thats a bit of a gamble that you know the info in the quiz. There are a few rather easy ones that are worth it I thought. Those are some ways I got mine up.

Yup... a whole four No, I used some to pay for my avatar. Once you use them to pay for something they are gone so be sure to choose and pick what you really want because once they are used they are gone.
