How different would things be if the gender roles of today existed since the beginning?

What would the world be like? Would there be a third sex perhaps? Would women be taller, have more facial hair, muscular etc? Men shorter, higher pitched voices etc?
The reason men are more muscular, have facial hair, etc. is biological and has nothing to do with gender roles.

Ok this question was clearly misunderstood. Lets start with a simple question with a simple answer and go from there. Gender roles are different today than they were during the early days of humans correct?

If I understand your question, the gender roles of today could not possibly have existed since the beginning. Gender roles have always been based on physical ability.

My grandfather was a farmer who worked a 160 acre farm with a team of mules. That, by itself, would have been impossible for my grandmother to do.

It is nowhere near that simple. To start with you need to define what you mean by gender roles. Give specific examples.

It depends on what you mean by "In the beginning." Gender roles have varied through history and from culture to culture.

Women taking on more masculine roles and vice versa.

The question is simply based off of how much more masculine women are today than at any point in history. And what do you think the implications would be if such an environment existed for hundreds of thousands of years.

The question could be rephrased as what do you think the implications will be for men and women biologically due to women becoming more masculine and men being more feminized?

That does not count as a definition or give specific examples. What is a masculine role? Or a feminine role?

Are you saying such things don't exist? Because historically they do.

What evidence to you have that women are more "masculine" than at any time in history? I have the sense that you are thinking of a stereotype of "masculine" and "feminine" roles which you are not sharing with us.

Examples? I don''t know what you think gender roles looked like. Even today in the US gender roles look and have looked different in different parts of the country in different subcultures.

Nothing is new under the sun. We just give it different wording.
