How did I know? I guess, when my husband finally felt like he had done as much as he could to prepare. I've had baby fever since we got married (almost 6 years ago) but he wanted to get some education out of the way, get a stable job, etc. In the end, he realized that we always had more stability that he thought. Now we agree that 'it's just time' to have a baby.

I'm charting, mostly because I want to make sure that I'm actually ovulating. If there's going to be a problem, I want to know sooner rather than later.

Like most women, I got clucky after the wedding. Prior to that I wasn't planning on having children.

As for the 'right time' we sort of realised there wasn't going to be a 'right time' when everything is perfect in terms of money, jobs and housing, anywhere in the near future. If we waited for that hubby would be well into his 60s

We did want to be married at least a year though, and then serve all the waiting periods on my private health insurence. (12 months) We started 5 months before that date...and here 1 month after that- we're still trying :p
