How did you know you where called to the ministry? What main things made you believe you were called to it? Just wondering what the expiriance was. For me, I have wanted to spread Gods word since I got saved. I didn't consider myself matirial for being a preacher though. While I think zeal is good it wasn't enough to be "called" to preach (pastor). I was actualy in the middle of preaching to someone (just because God gave me something to get excited over) and then this person profesized that I would be a preacher with a wife who would be my help. Now I am married and soon to go to seminary for ministry lol. That was years ago by the way. Also I asked God to speak to me because I had been in a dry spell for a few years. That night I had a dream where God told me that if I wanted to be close to Him, I needed to feed others. So what was your expiriance?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a Job that doesnt suit me at all and am miserable at it, when i was really struggling with working there (great company , great people, great benes, great pay...duties suck) i had my youth pastor on a ski trip preach to the youth about being happy where you work...that sunday the pastor spoke on doing God's will. Then sunday night he spoke on listening to God...So i started thinking what i loved to do and if i could do one thing what would it be..the answer was minister to Youth Age people. Then one door after another opened and i prayed that God show me. And thats when i felt the call. its so awesome how clear it was when i sacrificed my will and listened to God!!!!!
