Was born and raised Quaker but about 2 years ago started attending a non-denominational(although basically baptist) church. We became members a year ago. Since going to that church, enough of my beliefs have changed that I can no longer consider myself a "true" quaker. However, I still retain enough of my quaker traditions that I could never consider myself NOT a quaker.

I am a Southern Baptist.
That attends a Southern Baptist church.
But consider myself a non-denominational Christian.
Who believes in Christ the Savior and Lord.
And put my faith & trust in Him.
Continuing to do so in word and in prayer.

I grew up in another denomination and was not saved. I'm not saying it was a bad denom, it's just that I wasn't saved. As an adult, I started going to my husband's church and came to faith in Christ as a result of Sunday School and services.

I actually chose "came to this faith as an adult," because even though it was my husband's church, he was not going to church at the time, and I was at least as instrumental as he was in our going to church.
