Generated from neural/chemical processes influenced by internal and external stimulus....basic enough?
so we agree then that our mind/garden can be seeded from within and also from without ...
Good seed and bad seed in the garden?
If God gave me a gift then it is now mine. God wanted to give me a gift so why would I want to take that away from him?For by grace you are saved through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,
If God gave me a gift then it is now mine. God wanted to give me a gift so why would I want to take that away from him?
Not of myself, hmmm what did God give me? God gave us something and by faith we want to give God something.
If Grace is God's freedom then faith is man's freedom. We could easily replace the word faith with will or love. Yes, how can it be of myself when what I want is of God?
If it's not of myself then is it of Christ in me, the hope of glory? but if Paul spoke about a spiritual process then must things always remain how he defined them to be?
It is clear what a difference between Abel and Cain there was. One was better than the other, one was more righteous than the other. One had more faith than the other.
Spirit, Freedom, faith, will, perception, desire, love... they are all the same thing.
an eating of a tree of two fruits ...
The tree of life is the Trinity and they are in perfect Unity. ( Third part not cast down) ;pas you know the gift of God is Himself ... it is our own reasoning by way of two fruits of a tree which affords us a perception (third part cast down) contrary to this Truth ....
answer me this then ... how do we reason ?
Is it 2 trees producing the same fruit, 2 trees producing different fruits or 1 tree producing 2 different fruits...and if the latter, how...
We consciously and unconsciously do it, I would say. All the flesh is a correspondence for higher realities though. therefore cause and effect do not happen just horizontally but also vertically. the inwardness of something penetrates into other realities.
It is nice that Christians throughout the ages have contemplated Christ crucified. I don't care about how much Christians might have changed but rather how much they have grown and how many have loved to God.God calls us to reason with Him .. He being in all flesh ... in everything there is a path back seeing everything testifies of Him ... in one picture of the cross as the alter Christ was crucified on speaks to this you wrote as in north south and east west ....
We consciously decide and choose between beliefs, paths, values, things we want, things we need, etc
It is nice that Christians throughout the ages have contemplated Christ crucified. I don't care about how much Christians might have changed but rather how much they have grown and how many have loved to God.
and yet when you view the theologies and doctrines which have come out from Christendom, one can only conclude that their contemplation of Christ crucified has been superficial at best ...
so do we agree that to reason is the comparison between two opposites ....
two perceptions/sons of one tree/soul ... it is an in the day you eat, which relates to the sixth (labor) or the seventh (rest) ..... Jesus received all the things the devil tempted him with in the wilderness, which is to say the tree revealed its fruit to him without him having to touch it ...
Not always, some things are similar but not exactly the same yet not polar opposites...
how do you know (have knowledge of ) what hot is ?
Adam was created on the 6th day and the 2nd Adam was destroyed. Wilderness...40 days...40 years...
