You brought up the problem of ventilation, I gave the obvious solution (there's nothing humorous about methane, if you get my drift).
Are you trying to tell us that Noah was not only a ship builder but he could smelt iron as well? this is a joke right? The ark was made of wood but the furnaces would have been metal. I'm guessing the fuel was bitumen or coal.

why didn't your God just speak an ark into existence and save everyone the trouble? it would also do away with this nonsense, talking with adults as though they were children might be OK in the US but I can tell you it doesn't sit well with me.
Sorry, the Ark was a joke. Furnaces would be an even bigger joke since the Ark would have predated the age for such a construct.
A 'ship' or a large vessel like that would have needed expertise to make that was not around at the time. The ark was not a 'ship', so Noah didn't have to be a 'ship builder'.
You really don't get it do you? when was Noah alive? if it was before 800 years BC there was no iron smelting, anywhere. Also he didn't need to know how to smelt metal, he hired people to do that. In fact he wouldn't even have needed to design the ark as he would have hired that done as well (Henry Ford was an "auto maker" but didn't 'make' a single auto).

You don't think the Ark had metal parts, do you?Bible history records metal working prior to the flood (Genesis 4:22) . It would follow that many crafts were well developed at the time.
First off since there was no "Flood of Genesis" that claim is bogus. And the Bible is not a valid source of history. We know there was no flood because over 5 miles of water being added to the Earth and magicked away would have left a mark. There are no such marks. How do you know this?

I'm afraid there was.You really don't get it do you? when was Noah alive? if it was before 800 years BC there was no iron smelting, anywhere.
They say ... (and I believe it) ... that when God healed people directly there were no scars left behind. We know there was no flood because over 5 miles of water being added to the Earth and magicked away would have left a mark.
There is a difference between a lack of scars and a false history. They say ... (and I believe it) ... that when God healed people directly there were no scars left behind.
Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
According to you though, there should be scars left behind. There is a difference between a lack of scars and a false history.
Coal is a fossil fuel. Fossil. How did fossil fuels form before Noah's flood? According to the bible the world God made was "good". How is building a world on top of dead, pressurized, solidified organic matter good? Also, if God simply "created" coal as part of the literal 6 day creation, he is essentially making illusions. Coal is made of organic matter. If coal was created and not formed, it quite literally means that God planted evidence. And as we all know "planting" evidence is only needed when someone wants someone else to believe a different version of reality. If God created a young earth, fine. But if so, it really looks like he wanted us to believe in an old one.The ark was made of wood but the furnaces would have been metal. I'm guessing the fuel was bitumen or coal.

Why?Also, if God simply "created" coal as part of the literal 6 day creation, he is essentially making illusions.
Either that, or He "planted" coal.homohabilis117 said:Coal is made of organic matter. If coal was created and not formed, it quite literally means that God planted evidence.
What you are saying is the opposite extreme of what materialists say. What you are saying when you boil it down is that God is constantly changing reality to such an extent that it can't be known. But if God is constantly altering reality to such an extent, then your senses are completely untrustworthy. If your sense are so completely useless, how do you know that when you are reading the bible you are not actually holding a copy of harry potter and simply believing that it is the bible?According to you though, there should be scars left behind.
Do you know how hard it would be to convince someone GOD DID IT if there were scars left behind?
If there were scars left behind, scientists would be ooking MOTHER NATURE DID IT.
It is reasonable to conclude that there would be marks left from such activity. There is no valid Biblical reason to assume that God would fix the surface of the Earth and you go much further, you tell us that he lied about what he did. You may not realize that you do make that claim, that is because you don't know how to use logic. Again, the Earth tells us that it has a history. It does not match that of the Noah's Ark Flood myth. That means that your version of God not only fixed the surface of the Earth, he went much much further than that. According to you he put a history, for no fathomable reason, that tells us there was no flood, there was no Adam and Eve. That means you have to believe in a lying God. Most Christians do not think that is reasonable.According to you though, there should be scars left behind.

No, I'm not. What you are saying when you boil it down is that God is constantly changing reality to such an extent that it can't be known.
If God created something that obviously looks organic in nature (coal does) that never lived, then yes, that would seem deceptive. But my whole point is that God did not do that. Coal is coal. A carbon based substance created by the death and preservation of ancient organisms. Coal seams have preserved imprints of leaves and other living structures. Why would God create the impression of a dead smashed leaf that never once lived? And if you say he did for whatever reason, then you are basically admitting that reality has no rhyme or reason. And if that is the case, you can't trust your senses at all. But if your senses are completely untrustworthy you have no way of knowing God didn't create the world last week. Why?
Suppose God created coal as an "easter egg" in the earth to be discovered at the proper time?
Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
(Notice God refers to scientists as "kings"?)Either that, or He "planted" coal.
(Interesting word choice there. Are you trying to make it look like God is a deceiver?)
