I am sure this post will will go over like lead balloons and popcicles in Siberia, but I will submit it for everyone's disapproval anyway........
In the past, I have thought about the miracle of Christ walking on the water.....
And, I have thought to myself that He could have only walked upon the water in three possible ways.....
He either........
1. Miraculously changed the way gravity affected the physical weight and mass of His body.
2. Miraculously changed the physical properties of the water in the Sea of Galilee so that it would support His weight.
3. Miraculously changed the physical properties of His own body so that it was "light enough" to not sink into the water.
(Of course, there is a fourth alternative that He miraculously did all three simultaneously....)
Does this sound reasonably to any of you?
And does anyone think one of these three explanations might actually be (or, at least, sound) valid??
