How could we possibly be worth the price paid to redeem our souls? How will we ever glorify God?

We glorify God by giving Him thanks and praise, and living out our lives in the way He wishes. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians v. 31 "Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God."
With the word "Therefore" Paul refers back to what he has been talking about in the last 3 chapters or so. By partaking of food with thankfulness, a person gives glory to God. Paul here extends this principle to the whole of the Christian life: everything - not only eating and drinking but every activity we engage in - is to glorify God and benefit the neighbor. In gratitude for God's mercy, the believer's whole life is to be a living sacrifice to God.
Pretty neat.

I believe that somehow He suffered an eternity for each one of us in those few hours. We may never understand it. That's where faith comes in.

It was a incredible sacrifical gift and an extension of undeserved mercy and grace considering our condition.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Human nature is not a seeker of God . (I Cor 2:14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.)
Mankind in its natural sin condition is disconnected, desynthesized, unattached, misaligned, bent, marred, corrupted, fallen short, has missed the mark, and flawed from the original design as it is written, there are none righteous no not one, none that understand, none seek good as all have become futile.
(Rom 3:10-18) When mankind examines its own depravity, behavior, or nature it is a slave to sin and cannot see the deteriorated condition that its in. Those that are sick cannot, or will not acknowledge they are in that state.
Below is an illustration of where we were before Chist than after.
- You were once dead in your trespasses and sins but are alive in Christ Eph 2:1
- You were walking in darkness but now are walking in the light Eph 5:8
- You were children of disobedience but now sons of obedience. Eph 2:2
- You were children of wraith but now are sons of a greater inheritance. Eph 2:3
I find that this verse says a lot about Why we are worth it.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Somewhere in Romans it says that men are short of gods glory, and aren't good enough. I guess that just shows how much god loves us.

Two real good questions that are both related. The reason why we were worth the infinite value of the Christ, (and we were,) in order to our redemption is because we were not angels!! Angels were designed to be residences for the works of God while we were designed to be a residence for both the works and person of God. This difference accounts for our redemption and their reprobation. God does not need to redeem the demons in order to display His works because they are currently and continually displaying His work of justice while men and women must of necessity be redeemed before they can properly become habitations of the Almighty. A finite house which houses an infinitely valuable Being has then an associate value to the scale of infinity. You were worth the death of Christ, but must achieve this final objective purpose in experience. This also answers the question as to how we will glorify God...By becoming His house!
