The ones used at my parish often have the cross, and sometimes the IHS. We never use plain ones.

normally the ornate ones are the over sized ones that the priest holds up, and then they are broken up and handed out

Do your parish use the same ones (unconsecrated of course) as antidoron Anhelyna?
Is it wrong for to say that they looked quite good?

Believe me - our priest is a good baker - and so is my Fr Confessor They are taught, and practice, this in seminary.

Yes - we use , for antidoron , what is not consecrated
