Well, I was just thinking, for over 2000 years people say that Jesus is coming back but he never really does, why do you still spread dates he`s coming back?

People spreading dates and times are foolish liars, thieves, and false prophets. Scripture clearly says that no man knows the day or time in which he will come again. We are only given signs to watch for, but even that is misconstrued.

People spreading this nonsense try to whip up hysteria. They try to make themselves appear as superbly important to God above everyone else since they know his secrets. They want a following. And all too often they profit off of this by selling books and/or getting sheep to give them their money and belongings.

God moves incredibly slow by human standards. That it's been 2000 years is of no concern.

The Lord Jesus Christ said as recorded in Matthew 24:36: that no man knows the day and hour no one except God "36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only"., so if anyone says they know the day when the Lord Jesus Christ will come again I do not believe that they actually know the day

The Lord Jesus Christ also said as recorded in Matthew 24:23-27:."23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

I do believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon, and I would be want to be ready when He does come back (Matthew 24:44: "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."; Revelation 22:7, 11: 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book., 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is with Christians today through the Holy Spirit, but I believe no one except God knows the day and hour of the Lord Jesus Christ's second coming

Imagine, if Jesus came back in the first century many of us that have lived and died afterward would not have been born and would have came to faith. History would have been different as well...

Don't listen to people who are spreading dates, Jesus clearly said no one would know the day or hour.

He's coming back soon, and we're closer to that happening now than we ever have been before.

Because man in his depravity is highly gullible yet he isn't aware of this. Even some of the elect who are deceived are simply ignorant of the truth. It is one thing to have read the truth-it takes more to trust it.

It seems to me that your beliefs surrounding Christianity may be biased due to your views on some Christians. That probably isn't unwarranted. I've seen it before.
