Many of the TV satellites orbit the earth. But to you, they just always stay over your head. This is possible when the satellite rotates around the earth at the same speed as the earth's self rotation.

Another scenario: When a meteorite flying by the earth, it is possible that the meteorite stays over your head for a period of time and then leaves the earth, if the speed of the fly-by is similar to the rotation speed of the earth.

It is not impossible for the earth and the sun once rendezvoused in a similar way.

I'll grant that that's possible. We could be discovering methods God intended for us to use, but by sticking true to science's method, we have to understand that all knowledge it provides us is provisional, and often changed or revised in the future, so at any given time science provides us with vastly incomplete, pictures prone to human error. I'm not sure that qualifies as the word of God.

No; satellites do not orbit the earth. They sit above the earth in a fixed location. To orbit would be to move around the planet in a specific direction. A satellite no more orbits the Earth than a tree orbits the earth.

So, when I suggest that Joshua's long day could be explained by science, then what you can understand is: there is a possibility for that.

So, this one is not an illogical example in the Bible.

Any more question? If you like to accuse that some messages in the Bible are not logic, then you better avoid those scientific issues. I can assure you that everyone of them is logical. And there are many more scientific information in the Bible that you not only don't know the answers, but you don't even know the questions.

But God's word is never wrong.

I am struggling on this one. I saw in another thread which presented a link to show a system that the earth is the center of the universe. It is very impressive. However, that only shows the possibility from pure geometrical point of view. And it might not be enough to explain the Joshua's Long Day.

However, this difficulty is only one of several in the Bible that could be solved (easily) by using additional dimension in the universe. Now we live in 3.5 dimension. If the dimension of time could become a full dimension (able to go backward), then the answer would be trivial. Needless to say many people (religious and nonreligious) suggested that there is an additional dimension (the 5th dimension) we live in. If so, then nothing is impossible.

Not sure of the point you are trying to make but if you are gonna use scientific logic to show the possiblity of the Sun stopping in the sky and refusing to set, you gotta use more than claims of the Earth being the center of the Universe and "some people speak of a 5th dimention".

That is all I can do on this one. (I am not trying to explain to you why is this problem not a problem in a 5D universe. It is not my thing. In order to appreciate the possibility, you need to have some understanding on the 5th dimension yourself)
