My husband is a full time minister, evangelizing through his talent writing, music and making gospel movies. He has been doing this for 13 years now. For last 6 years since I met him, I have been helping him financially. He has his vision to serve god through media. We are from Nepal, which is still an under developed country. Many places are there where road are not there to reach. So my husband has vision to reach those places through media. I came to U.S hoping to financially support him. Till now he made 6 gospel movies and many songs. As demand and expectations are higher, we now feel that I only may not be able to fulfill his vision. We cannot let his vision die, and having hard time thinking how to continue the journey of fulfilling the great commandment. Please do suggest and pray for us.
Thank you

Thanks for your positive thought. We surely will continue this ministry. More and More believers and artists are becoming part of this. We have God with us, so who can be against us? He gives us the power. People do talk and discourage us, but God gave us this vision and he will fulfill by any means by using us. Please do pray for us and Nepal.

Thanks,

It's wonderful you want to be in the will of God concerning your ministry and i'll urge you on. Although already mentioned I'd suggest that you continue to pray about it and not only that but to be in the perfect will of God concerning this.
And to be in His perfect will you'll need to develop the art of hearing because how and what you hear matters "Take heed therefore how ye hear.." Luke 8:18 ..especially when there are a number of voices you can hear concerning any matter ,situation etc. "There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification."1 Cor 14:10 So the emphasis here is to be in the perfect will of God; a desire that will be gladly by given to us by God our Father when we pray for. How you can be in the perfect will of God and many related topics are in a down-to-earth manner expounded in "How You Can be in the perfect will of God".From what I've said you do understand why I would recommend that you read "The Art of hearing" along side this. The two make a great "tool". God bless you and may you benefit the graces or walking in the perfect will of God :)

  1. Make sure you're charging enough money for what your husband produces to cover all of your costs and add a little more. It's nice to be able to share the gospels with others, but it has to be done with the sensibility that you must be able to sustain the effort.
  2. You're on these forums and yet I did not see a single reference as to where someone might be able to purchase what your husband is producing. Advertise your work wherever you can - it's the best way to spread the word and also the best chance you have to be adequately compensated.
  3. Seek out Christian-based businesses and Christian philanthropists that have liquid assets (extra money) that they can contribute to your efforts. There are plenty of businesses and people that will grant money to those that are performing all varieties of outreach ministry.

I am his wife responding to these posts. The thing I can do fo the movies that has been finished alrady is to list them in Ebay and find ways to get to the audience. However we complete a movie, due to inefficient distribution, and not many christian distributors in Nepal we cannot get more exposure. Below are the lists for the previous movies.

Since I cannot post the link in the thread, you can search for keyword
Nepali Christian Movie in the Ebay Site.

for Pariwartan and Dumo movie listed there and able to buy as well.

Currently my husband is in Nepal in the making of the movie based on the Nepali Culture of going abroad for work and the difficulty they face and how they find Jesus and every thing else does not matter much after you recieve Jesus. Main theme of the movie is everything else you earn is perishable but earn Jesus in your life is incomparable to anything else.

We definitely heard the voice of God. Since we are listening his voice more than 10 years now. All the family members still question, why you have to do? Why are you so dedicated? Without money you cannot run the life. Sometime I feel disappointed but when I look at him again, I get power and get more energy to do more for him.

Thanks,
