No, I defend you as well -You ceased to be neutral the moment you defended Catholics and their understanding of the Gospel.
Actually, he was singing the Lord's Prayer, not the Gospel.
I defend BOTH.
That IS neutral.
I'm simply saying there are saved & lost in BOTH camps becuz
so many of each side believe different things.
Not ALL Catholics believe & worship like all others -
I also don't defend ALL their understanding of scripture.
I take issue with those who deify Mary (and those are the ones
I don't believe can be Christian since they claim she's God/a god &
worship her as such specifically) -
I take issue with intercession from Mary (for Mary to hear them, she'd
have to be omnipresent which only God is) -
if they view prayer to her as intercession, then I'm not convinced they
are literally worshipping her altho that argument/accusation is
valid to make.
Again, it's all in what people are doing knowingly by motive & knowledge.
God knows that, I don't.
Many can just be misled but not lost becuz they DO accept the central
tenets of salvation.
I also take issue w/ purgatory & works (but those do not make someone
lost if they accept the gospel proper).
I see that as no different a doctrinal skew as those who claim one must be baptized to be saved........
they can be saved, but just mistaken.
