Well, I have come to the end of my meditations on Evolution. I had thought to test you one more time, but I will refrain, for the greater glory of God to work through me by. But I have not lost the point altogether, far from it, I think it is for this that I am called: how can I help you evolve?
You must forgive me for thinking that I must understand evolution in my own way before I can make this comment, but your premises were not entirely clear. I see now that you were trying to stake a claim on progress and for that I have answer: we must work together.
I am quite happy for you to be more evolved than me, to have greater evolutionary influence than me, even to some extent to have greater evolutionary flair than me, though I must admit I find the idea of giving up flair altogether as if you own abhorrent to me as a free individual. And I know that I am free because I have heard the truth. I am sober. I am liberal minded. From this position I am able to help you evolve as you know yourself to be in command of your own destiny.
Jesus gave you command of your destiny, it only remains for you to see that if you compete with Him, He will compete with you, for a time, but if you acknowledge Him, He will acknowledge you for all time.
