How can I be healed?

That's an amazing place. My own personal friends who have received healings while attending the class there have been set free from bi-polar, deviated septum, herpes, allergies, asthma, heart disease, rhematoid arthris, skin diseases, etc. etc. etc. Talk about a fun week!

There's nothing cooler than seeing someone who shows up allergic to peanuts who can eat peanuts by the end of the week! God is so Cool!!

i went to one of pastor henry's seminars about 4 years ago and another one a couple years later. it is exciting stuff! since i have been learning the things he teaches my life is totally different. God is so awesome and His word is true and powerful!

To answer your question, I'll just tell you how I received my own healing.

After receiving diagnosis from the doctor that I had an incurable eye disease, I knew that I was going to be putting to work the teaching that I had received on healing. So, I focused my attention on doing just that.

I already knew that God could heal me. Most Christians have no problem with that, and will readily agree to such a statement.

But to convince myself that it was God's will to heal me, and to heal me, now, not in some far off future, I knew that I had to immerse myself in the scriptures.

I needed to see how Jesus dealt with sickness. I marked, and read over and over and over every place where someone came to Jesus, asking Him to heal them.

I prayed that, as I studied these scriptures, the Holy Spirit would give me revelation and speak to me personally about my own situation in relation to what I was reading. I kept this up and the Holy Spirit lead, strengthened, and opened up the Word to me and made it personal.

The "Word of God is Spirit and it is life". I knew that I was feeding my spirit on true substance of life, when I gave myself to study and meditate on those scriptures. Something was happening in me whether I felt it or not.

The "Word is a light to my feet, a lamp to my path". I knew that it would guide and direct me. I also knew that "God always leads us in the triumps of Christ Jesus". I also knew that He promised to "strengthen me" and to "never forsake me". I was not on my own, but had the Holy Spirit and His power within me.

There finally came the day that the 'light' of God's Word had dispelled the 'darkness' of doubt in my mind and heart. I just knew that I knew that I knew, that I was healed. No outward evidence told me that, the inner witness of faith was the evidence that I had my healing. The outward evidence came shortly after this point.

So, Jlaw, give due diligence to God's Word where He shows you how Jesus handled sickness. Soak yourself in these scriptures. "Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life."

I will be glad to add my faith to yours at any time. But first spend some time doing what I have suggested, as there are two parts to healing - God's part, giving and - our part, receiving. We know this because when Jesus went to his own hometown, He couldn't heal many because of their unbelief. Read that also.

One more thing, healing is one part of our inheritance of being 'in Christ'. Just as God gave the Israelites the land of Canaan as their inheritance, they first had to dispossess the enemies off the land and take it by force. So, you too, will have to dispossess the enemies of doubt, discouragement, outward evidence to the contrary, people's discourageing report, unbelief, etc. Therefore put on the armour described in Ephes. 6 and set your heart like flint to fight the good fight of faith.

If you know someone or a church, with the will to stand with you on this and they have a proven track record of either healing the sick or receiving their own healing, ask them to stand with you. I will be glad to do so, also.

Put this disease under the feet of Jesus, where it belongs. Make it give glory to God for the great things He has done. Demonstrate to the powers and principalities of the air, that our God reigns and that we reign in life with him (Rom 5:17).

You have this right and blessing not through your own goodness or holiness, but simply as a joint-heir of Christ Jesus. It's yours through faith.

Well. I guess the Doctor of Doubt has spoken. Far be it from me to offer any futher Word of God to try to give anyone hope. It's a shame though, cause I know the God that is Love, and He never abuses His children.

I have this printed out and hanging in several places around the house and every day (sometimes more than once a day), I speak the decree out loud, including scriptures.

I start by sayng,​

It is written, "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways."​

Threfore, I decree that I am saved, because it is written, "For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall eb saved." I decree that I am healed, because it is written ... etc.​

The rest of the book is so encouraging, too. She has some amazing testimonies of miraculous healings within her family, including her own from breast cancer. Her brother's throat cancer, and illnesses of her mother and two of her children. This woman knows what she's talking about. I highly recommend it.​

Well... I don't know the name of it but I have this disease... it is like a bacteria that grows on your skin. It is sort of like a rash except it doesn't go away. It is slowly growing throughout my whole body. They say that soon it will eat the skin off of my fingernails and my fingernails will fall off. The doctors say that there is no cure for this, the only thing you can do is make it look a little bit better. Well, i'm getting tired of having this disease and I know that no medicine can cure it... I've been prayed for before but it still didn't go away. I don't know what to do... I was hoping that you guys may be able to help me.

If you are still reading these post consider this, because do these things and healing will come.

Consider this also. I do no always know why, but some people receive healing very easily some don’t. I have also seen people healed of serious things such as cancer, but a few years later it came back. The instances where it came back were no mystery. At the time the person received healing and cancer was gone there was also something they were suppose to do. One was a lady that was healed, but remained living with her boyfriend. She received specific instructions to cease that, but chose not to, thereby leaving a door open and cancer “walked back in”.

I will tell you up front that if it is not always “easy” to receive healing, simply because there is a part each person has to play in order for healing to come. The key word is EFFORT. A lazy person has trouble receiving healing for the same reason a lazy person has trouble receiving anything. Laziness stops effort and effort is required for the knowledge & understanding required for healing to be able to come.

If you have 24 hours a day available then use every minute of your time reading healing scriptures, from this point on do not even entertain a thought or word from outside that speaks negative about you being healed. Most of those thoughts will come from inside for the battleground is in your mind, the battleground is in your thought life, and that is where you will win or lose.

Listen to every good preacher that teaches faith in healing and how to receive it. Faith for healing comes by hearing the word on healing. If you don’t know any ask me and I will tell you. There is some excellent teaching you can download off the internet free to get you started. Fill your time with the word, teaching tapes, meditating on the word, and healing will happen.

Well, this is getting rather lengthy so I will end this here. However if you are interested in more I can help you much more. One more thing. Before you get anymore prayer work on building your faith some first.

Your post made me think of these verses.. For it is with our tongue.. mouth... that we accept Jesus as Lord and confess our sins.. I just don't feel right not reading the Word out loud.. Something about speaking the Word of God out loud..
