I hear a TON of people saying pokemon is evil, but I only think the ghost, psychic, dark, and fairy types are the only thing close to being evil.

Game theroy (all though making extremely horrible jokes) made a good point on evolution in that game. You can watch it, but be warned,it has bad language and bad jokes.

The guy who made Pokemon was inspired by his childhood hobby of collecting bugs. People will find "evil" in anything and everything. You have to use your own judgement. If there's something that truly bothers you, then yeah I would say it'd be better for you to stop doing whatever it was you were doing.
I don't understand the big deal about the evolution in Pokemon games. You get to a certain level and then the Pokemon grows. It has absolutely nothing to do with the slow development of a species over time. At all.
