  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

right now, i'm at 23 weeks, and my baby moves constantly and has a pretty established sleep/wake schedule already. in fact, last week, i didn't feel her move for a day and was so worried that i ran to the hospital to have her heartbeat checked and to make sure she was okay.

she's fine, but the doctor told me that she was just unusually active for 23 weeks, as i feel her move anywhere from 25 - 35 times a day, and those are just the pronounced kicks.

i know that every pregnancy is different, but around 23 weeks, how often did you feel/are you feeling your baby move?

I feel my baby move in spurts, I guess you can say. Right now I am 26 weeks, and at least feel her move a little bit every day, some days are more than others. The last couple of days, she has been going crazy! :) She must be moving everything: legs, arms, head, because one minute I will feel movement up kind of high, and the next minute feel movement down low. And if I even try to lay partly on my belly, even for a second, she will start kicking constantly! After a few days of lots of movement, I will usually have a couple of days where she will move around, but not as many hard kicks, and not as often. I've heard that fluctuations in baby's movements are totally normal, that they have their energetic days and sleepier days just like we do! I've also found that she will start moving around more about half way through eating a meal, and also once I actually stretch out on the couch at night.

With my son it was lots and lots. He was a crazy active baby before birth, and wouldn't you know, a crazy active baby after birth. So you might have a "high energy" baby on your hands.... ;) I mean David now and even as a newborn was always high energy, wanting to explore, be awake, do something ANYTHING, but other people's baby's just wanted to lay there and cuddle.... hehe....
