How about just a news threads where no comments are permitted from anyone

not from the peanut gallery or the legs thumpers neither.
as long as news is only in that section it is in with that nasty crew , no one is going to bother putting news up and stuff that could be critical information to get early to pray about , or to prepare for , or warn loved ones about .. but why do it on this site if the only people who read it is that miserable crew. .
maybe only allow christians to post the real critical news also .
we don't want to know they found another monkey ,neither is that junk critical or could it ever become critical .

You are referring to the News & Current Events section, correct? Right now we have that as all faiths and members.

Have you tried Christian Current Affairs? It is a Christian only area and people post news related to the faith there.

I was thinking more like a News feed.
with no comments from people of any kind ..
because that stuff gets too ........?????? heck even on the christian side .

There are plenty of direct secular and religious news feeds available. I don't feel that it would be of much value to have a "News Feed" for the forums.

yes Brinny I thought so too. but it appears everyone is more interesting in the unbelievers and right to do what only they can do to it. I guess that is more important than the believers need to current news . I mean the world is likely to get crazy over the next few years . I mean even terrorist attacks and on going tragedies, cities exploding in violence and beating themselves to death with bats and the whole city burning to the ground. we want who comment on that stuff.. and still like much less love people when it is over reading that kind of junk. nahhhh
I was just thinking that it might be good to find a way to put info about huge issues someplace "safe".
heck I don't watch tv anymore because of the filthy commercials and the shows are even worse. I can only get a hint of christian news from you tube and that gets insane sometimes too. I was just thinking it would be good to have catastrophic and life changing events and dangers in real time on a christian site.
