I'm wondering is it ok for me to do lasers on my skin for scars and so ? //Madelene

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
How about face laser for scars and so?

I would not think it is vanity or sinful to have a medical procedure to help heal scars from previous injuries, and more than it would be to have any medical procedure done. I know there are a few Christian traditions that discourage medical treatment, but the vast majority would approve of it.
If my opinion means anything, I would think you are good.

Your point is a reasonable one, but I am assuming from your post that you are speaking of scars that actually are disfiguring or ugly.
It is difficult to go through life with that problem. In this case, it's not vanity that we are talking about.
If you were asking about some silly cosmetic surgery like puffing up your lips or taking out some ribs in order to have a smaller waist…then vanity would be an issue.
