  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How about a "Hell" forum?

There are so many threads in so many different forums now discussing this particular after life topic. Why not make a forum wherein they can all be collected and discussed in one central location? That way those interested in such topics find all that they're looking for in one place.

That's my suggestion. Thank you for your consideration.

I'm generally for fewer boards than more, but this type of sub forum probably has more merit than my idea of making a prominent sticky linking every single hell themed thread and forcing everyone to check the sticky and participate in an active thread rather than starting a new one. Public shaming of starting a hell themed thread without having checked the sticky would also occur in my ideal message board world. Your idea would just contain it all in the same place, kind of like all the sub forums of the same old same old rehashed topics that make up the entirety of GT.
