Housekeeping: FAQ Updates

We are going through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), which is linked from the top of every page on CF, and reorganizing and updating it. Over the years, it's gotten pretty convoluted, and we're finding some redundancy and overlap in many of the various sections.

While we are not anticipating making major changes to policies or protocols during this update, I've already found some issues where the protocol is contradictory or unclear. So we may clarify some wording here and there.

This thread is where I'll announce any such changes. They should be minor clarifications. Major changes in policy and protocol will continue to be announced in their own thread.

I'm also closing this thread to replies. This FAQ update will be a fairly drawn-out process, and I want one place where people can go to find out what's changed. I'll open a second thread where you can post questions.

Updates so far:

Moved P3tz faq below board faq on main page, so CF FAQ is first.

Moves the Privacy Policy under the Rules section

Updated the section "How does the staff moderate the board, and how can I appeal staff actions?" so that the Moderation Protocol, the Internal Staff Protocol, and the Appeals Protocol are all in one place.

Removed redundant copies of the Moderation Protocol, the Internal Staff PRotocol, and the Application to be a Moderator. Now we only have one copy of each, and they're at the upper level where they're easy to find.

Updated the history section to include Paul buying the site.

Updated and reformatted the Appeals section to more clearly outline what is and is not appealable.
