Okay its getting mighty cold outside so a nice hot drink is comfy.

So what hot drinks do you prefer?

I can take or leave regular coffee. I prefer french vanilla.
I also like good old hot chocolate.

This morning I put a heaping teaspoon of cocoa mix in my 2 cups of coffee. :yum:
It was the perfect mix - not too much coffee, not too much chocolate.

I also have hot apple cider mix that I enjoy but I usually forget I have.
I am not much of a tea drinker but need to get some for company.

Coffee and cocoa sounds good! I guess I've never thought of putting the two together. I love black coffee, a little on the strong side. I enjoy browsing in bookstores and then sitting down for a cup of coffee or espresso with some interesting books. Around the holidays, I enjoy coffee with a little Kahlua. I used to be a big tea drinker, but not so much anymore.

I usually have a couple of cups of coffee in the morning to get me going. I like the herbal spice teas. I also like hot chocolate once in a while.

Just like mocha! :)

I tried coffee and chocolate; gives me mad heartburn and it was not as good as it sounds; vanilla is much better!!! Easier on the tummy for me, too.

Now, Kahlua, yes, I used to love that, too; but don't drink it much anymore, it can become an addiction with me!!!

Now, espresso and cappucino; those are luxuries that I save for a special date or occasion, like spending time with my oldest brother and a jazz band!!!

In order of preference
  1. Black coffee
  2. Rooibos tea
  3. Green tea
  4. Ginger tea
  5. Hot chocolate (more likely to just put a spoonful of chocolate in my coffee)
But I have no trouble sitting and drinking a tall glass of iced lemon water at this time of year. Maybe not right after coming in from the cold though.

I just realized that I have to say how I like my tea. Well on a Thursday evening after teens at our church, the pastor's wife puts on the kettle for her and I. We take one tea bag and dip it in her cup of water, then drop it in mine. When her's is cool enough to drink, so is mine. But mine is also strong enough to really taste.

We both drink it as is. No flavoring or sweetening.

Hot chocolate for me

I make a lot of coffee at work but don't drink a drop myself. When people say it's too weak, I really don't have a clue what they're talking about. (And I'm a perfectionist when I make it. So it will be alike each time I make it as I was instructed to do.)

.

I do that a lot at my work - I agree, it's just right.

There's a coffee shop about 1/2 mile from my house. They have a S'more Mocha (milk chocolate and toasted marshmallow syrup in a latte). It is delicious. For when I don't need so much sugar they have a sugar free English Toffee/Chocolate Mocha - tastes like a Heath Bar. Love those specialty mochas.
