I think Sabine Hossenfelder's explanation (below) on various multiverse theories (including both Many Worlds and much broader: String Theory multiverse) is useful to summarize well both a brief overview of such theories and what is the most neutral, objective attitude towards such theories.

Hossenfelder's description of what's in the ~ 15 minute talk:

"Why do physicists think that our universe isn't the only one? And should you believe them? In this video, I explain what the multiverse is and what the problem is with it. heh heh....I listened before to just the audio, but now I was just replaying and looked up to see the funny way she illustrates the inane MWI theory just after 4 minutes....

lol!

That tickled my humor.

(and the splitting is constant (like happening over and over on like the plank time length practically), and exponentially growing and just vastly vastly more wildly multiplying than that...)
