I've been looking for this title in reprint form for a couple of years now, if anyone knows where I can find it, please post a link. Thank you.

From Wikipedia:
Horae Apocalypticae is an eschatological study written by Edward Bishop Elliott. The book is, as its long-title sets out, “A commentary on the apocalypse, critical and historical; including also an examination of the chief prophecies of Daniel illustrated by an apocalyptic chart, and engravings from medals and other extant monuments of antiquity with appendices, containing, besides other matter, a sketch of the history of apocalyptic interpretation, the chief apocalyptic counter-schemes and indices.”
“Horae Apocalypticae (Hours with the Apocalypse) is doubtless the most elaborate work ever produced on the Apocalypse. Without an equal in exhaustive research in its field, it was occasioned by the futurist attack on the Historical School of interpretation. Begun in 1837, its 2,500 pages are buttressed by some 10,000 invaluable references to ancient and modern works. It ran through five editions (1844, 1846, 1847, 1851 and 1862).”

You might try getting some small catalogs from The British Isles. Many small book shops over there. Also , remember to visit ebay and the used sections of amaz. & B&N websites. There are several places to buy/find books in the States ... such as "Friends of the Libray sales" , Yard/Garage sales , Flea Markets/Swap meets / Goodwill stores / Salvation Army stores/ Used Book shops / Estate Sales / Moving sales.

You may have to get some Yellow Pages Phone Books, and "Let your fingers do the walking". Some used book dealers have formed a 'network" with other shops so you visit one and make a request - and they will look around for you - and IF they find it you pay them a small finder's fee. Better than $$$ airplane /train/bus/hotel bills. I'll try and recall the name of the book network - don't hold your breath though.

{ btw - recently I got a John MacArthur book through a used seller via Amazon - in really good condition and it was $1.00 , from a Goodwill store ! :D Seek and ye shall find! }

In California, USA in Pasadena look for a store called; "Archives". They carry stuff that as C.H. Spurgeon said; "Good for lining a parakeet cage." , but they do have thousands of titles of "Religious" books - caveat emptor. Also in So. Cal. there is a small Christian book shop with used books called "House of Bibles" in Fullerton, Cal.. Give them a call.

Also try "Abe Books" dot com . Also the local classifieds section of your local ( or the next City ) newspaper. I do know of the outfit that does those photocopy reprints ( they are in your country ) , and bought some stuff from them in the past... ugh! IMO you best chance of finding/reading a real book copy is at one of the College/University/Seminary Libraries... and maybe ( don't know about Canada ) you might be able to get a Library card for that College for a small fee , and borrow it. ? maybe ?

What you might do is go onto Sermon Audio dot com and listen to them read aloud the book you want. I'm 90% they have that title on audio. Listen while cooking dinner or ice fishing , or skinin' polar bears. BTW - I could be wrong ( rarely happens though ;) ) but you might be able to rig up a device that can turn the audio sounds into a printed format - at least it seems to work on the cop/military/terrorist/spy TV shows.

I think those are print on demand books. The only problem I see...most of them mismatched volumes.

Petty, I know.

:blush:
Not at all. I would want the same thing (matching books).

Tell you what, why don't you just get the left behind series? That's how it's going to happen isn't it? lol. Just kidding.
