Hope

I just wanted to tell you that there is always hope. A very close friend of mine had cancer several years ago. After being in remission for 11 years, not only did her breast cancer come back, but she was diagnosed with brain cancer. I was very sad, but I never lost hope. I helped take care of her, and I prayed for her constantly.

I can happily tell you that the prayers were answered. After just five weeks, there was NO SIGN of cancer in her brain- NOTHING- it was gone. I think I cried with joy for the rest of the day. It was a wonderful feeling. I found that news out the week of my wedding, and it was the best gift I could have gotten.

Just offering you all a little hope. I'll be praying for all of you.

My grandfather is a 77 year old man. He was just diagnosed with cancer in his throat. The doctors caught it in time. I am not worried. I have been trusting in the Lord on this matter- His will is always best. Because of the situation mentioned, I have hope. It was your prayer requests that made me think to share this story and bring hope to you all. God bless.

Wow, thank you for sharing! This particular prayer forum can be so sad because of all the needs but it's wonderful to hear of the power of faith and that prayers are answered in such direct ways at times. Usually the Lord is so subtle...*sigh*
