  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So my girlfriend and I have known each other since last May. We decided not to start dating right away, because we both knew becoming friends is more important. I don't think either of us expected to become as good of friends as we did, but in November we decided to start dating, and we just got back from a big road trip of meeting all the living grandparents of both of us, my brother and his wife, and the Mall of America. Now, in November I remember thinking about the possibility that Steph(my girlfriend, obviously :p) could be the woman that God wants me to marry. And as time has passed, we've discussed the idea of getting married and everything, and right now, it's all a matter of how much time it'll take me to save up for an engagement ring. I'll simply summarize my spiritual growth(for the sake of time) since knowing Steph in this: wow. Now, I've been a Christian all my life and everything, but to show you guys how much of a drastic change this has been - last April(the 9th) I was at a party that almost got busted, and after a freshman year of fairly regular drinking, I decided to give up alcohol.

Ok, to bring up the actual point of my story, what kinds of changes, drastic or not, have you seen in your own life since coming to college? (BTW, this is my second year at school)
