I don't know if this band is Christian or not but i heard this song the other day and now my band is learning it and we want to do it in church (as a performance). Just look at the words to the song. they are really thought provoking!:

I love hoobastank. they are so good. no, they are not a christian bad though, sadly.

I love this song, this music video to it is great cause it tells a great story.

hoobastank is a top secular band of mine.

i like hoobastank, but the fact that they arent Christian means i dont listen to them, or give them much time... if they arent for God theyre against God, ..thats what Jesus says, and ill honour that.

But yeah, they would be great for His glory if they worshiped Him, they're very awesome!!

Great band, and I can see what you mean. But this particular song could apply to a lot of things... Like he could be talking to a friend here, or a girl, or anyone really. But it could be interpreted as talking to God, and for a Christian to listen to, the lyrics do make sense.

Some of their other lyrics are v. good too. But as you say different people will interpret the lyrics to mean different things

I don't think that Hoobastank is Christian, but those lyrics are quite amazing...and even if it is about a girl, they can easily be applied to God.
