And is lust the only way to look at a woman? Isn't there just plain attraction? Maybe the same goes gays.
I am wrong that the Lord is the only answer you need?
No you are not. I was saying you were wrong in the area of my disrespect.

I guess we have different definitions for respect and disrespect.

The problem is that there are too many people who think that Sodom and Gamorrah were destroyed because of their lack of hospitality.

Sodomy and gonorrhea is what I think of everytimes I see the names of the cities, Sodom and Gomorrah. Which is one reason why I find it amazing that people would think that they were destroyed because of their lack of hospitality?
Eze. 16.49-50:

49Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

And they committed abomination before me:

Lev 18:22
22Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

You are now quoting a different Book altogether to make that point. Pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness, as well as not helping the poor and needy are the abominations listed. Sodom was full of male rapists and various prostitution as well, how do you know that wouldn't be the true "abomination"? The Jewish people believe it is the repeated economic crimes as the fault for the problem.

See when I read those two verse I see a continuation of the list of iniquities, because verse 50 starts with And they were haughty, and committed. I don't see them as verse 50 talking about what has already been said in verse 49.

Jude 1:7-8

7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 8Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

We have to take the Bible as a whole, so why wouldn't or couldn't we use different scriptures to show something. Different books of the Bible mention things from other books, right?

Yes, true...but that is said to be associated directly with Genesis 19:1-5...the visitors of Sodom were guilty of wanting to have sexual relations with the angelic visitors. Men and men have the same flesh...it isn't an "other" flesh, it is the same one which derives from the word "hetero", and if you know that is where the term heterosexual comes from (men and women really have different flesh). Here is that thing about "strange" flesh:

Strange in Jude 1:7-- "Heteros" in Greek:

1) the other, another, other

a) to number

1) to number as opposed to some former person or thing

2) the other of two

b) to quality

1) another: i.e. one not of the same nature, form, class, kind, different

You can technically say that the opposite sex, is strange flesh...and in fact that is exactly how we use it in our modern day language with the term "Heterosexual". Heterosexual = the other sex, another flesh = "strange" flesh.

I don't believe I used strange flesh as any example of homosexuality.

I see at least 3 sins of the flesh in those two verses. Where would be the possible sins of the flesh in Ezekiel?

Eze.

Please do not that I said possible, sins of the flesh.

Jude is said to be talking about sexual relations w/the Angelic visitors like Genesis, though.

That could very well be the abomination, but it doesn't make the "abomination" known in Ezekiel. Sodom and Gomorrah did many abominations, 2 alone being the Pagan Worship/Idolatry as well as the raping and Prostitution (fornication).

Fornication back then only had 3 literal references-adultery, incest and prostitution.
Figuratively-idolatry and "sex outside of marriage".

Pardon me if I have misunderstood you here, but what I hear you saying is that you have created your own god.
