"So, if that's the case, if you did any sin (b/c God doesn't weigh sins), you wouldn't be able to go to heaven, right?"

We wouldn't on our own for sure, that is why Jesus had to die on the cross for us. Because the Lord said in Genesis 6:5 The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. We couldn't live perfect lives, we are forever doing something against God's will for us. So he gave us a way to make it to heaven by sending his son in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Peter told the people in Acts 2:28 "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Also in Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you-even Jesus. So that to me just says that not matter what you have to repent ( which means to turn away from). And God being upset with people who wouldn't believe the truth about him and deceived people will lies and those people followed the lies and liars. In 2Thessalonians 2:12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

There are many verses about your need to repent.
Mt 3:2, 4:17 Mk 6:12, Lk 13:3, Ac 2:38, 3:19, 17:30, 26:20, Rev 2:5
Repentance;
Mt 3:8 Mk 1:4 Lk 3:8, 5:32, 24:47 Ac 20:21, 26:20 Ro 2:4 2 Co 7:10 2 Pe 3:9

And christians are only to forgive when the person repents, Jesus tell us himself in Luke 17:3 " If your brother ( fellow believer ) sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4 If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and say, ' I repent,' forgive him." Repentance always comes before forgiveness.

And the bible warns in Revelations 21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieveing, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. These are the ones that didn't repent and continued in their sin upon their deaths.

Let me say right from the start, that I have nothing against homosexuals.
I completely understand that they can not help but be who they are and I don't judge them for that. I say that because I often get in these conversations and people freak out because of what I have to say.

I've been refining this conversation and I think I finally have it.

Let me explain.
I think homosexuality is worse then fornication but not for the same reasons that the OP may have had in mind and certainly not because I don't like gays or lesbians. I'm not bias toward homosexuals at all.
Right from the start I seen people posting in this thread that it was a problem with society or that Christians bring out a kind of mythological fear.

It's neither.
Well, maybe society plays a small role.

If you were walking down the street and seen a man standing on the sidewalk screaming his head off, you'd steer clear of the guy.
You'd probably hope that the guy wouldn't notice you until he was pretty far behind you.
However, if you knew the guy had just seen his family gunned down by a mad man, you might stop and try to help him out.

The homosexual issue is the same way. Now I know the APA doesn't classify homosexuality as a mental disorder. I have to say, the only reason they don't is because they cant treat it. There's no cure for Alzheimer's either but doctors still try to treat that.
I'm not saying that homosexuality is a mental illness. I am saying that it is certainly viewed upon as abnormal. Even by homosexuals. I only say that because the majority of the homosexuals I've talked to admit to questioning their sexuality. Admittedly most of them have said they only question their sexuality because of the negative response they have had from the majority of society.
But look at it this way.
If a man, any man approaches me with bedroom eyes. I'm going to treat him like the screaming guy and avoid him at all cost. So would most other heterosexual men.
If I walk up to a gay man and say, man that girl is hot!
He wont have the same response. Not even close to it. He might even tell me that he's gay and the girl does nothing for him. But he wouldn't want to avoid me in the same fashion.

I know a lot of pro gay men will say, they have nothing wrong with homosexual men. So, I'd like to ask them one very simple question that I highly doubt will be answer by them.
Why aren't you gay?
If there is nothing wrong with gay sex, why don't you enjoy it from time to time?
The obvious and most straight forward answer will be, it's not for me.
That however, doesn't actually answer the question. It doesn't say, why you wouldn't. You're not describing the effect you think homosexual sex will have on you that keeps you from having it.
Which is the real answer to the question.

What about gay sex to you seems so bad that you wouldn't do it at all?
I'm sure plenty of guys would be happy to fornicate. How many heterosexual men would be happy to sleep with a gay man?

Now a lesbian will come in, read my post and ask the question, what about two women? And then say, I'm sure you're not talking about that.
I can tell you this much. If a guy is attracted to two women having sex that only confirms his heterosexuality.

Personally I couldn't speak for women. I'm not one. So thats that.

I do know for gay men there is only one problem. That is that they can not explain exactly why they can only be gay. Sadly for them the majority of heterosexual men only know that they cant help but be gay. So they steer clear of them.

I can tell you exactly why I'm not gay. I can also tell you that I didn't have to put any thought into it what so ever.

The entire idea of gay sex makes me very uncomfortable. "Only" when it looks as if I might be the one being considered for gay sex.
I could care less what two gay men do in the privacy of their own home.
That has nothing to do with me.

It's so uncomfortable, it's worse then the thought of having sex with a sibling. But viewed upon much in the same light and both to be avoided at all cost.
A gay man could say, they find sex with women much the same way. I have talked to several gay men and every single one of them who have had sex with a woman have never even remotely said that. So it's doubtful that they will say sex with women makes them sick to their stomach.

Admittedly, I have heard lesbians say, they think sex with men is disturbing.
Once again, I'm not a woman.

I might add, that it's easy to see what the results of sex are suppose to produce. But then someone some where will tell me animals have gay sex and that makes it natural. Or something stupid.

Anyway. It's easy to see that it's far more natural to have sex with someone of the opposite sex. Of course that issue has to be clouded because people don't want to use common sense.

Which doesn't help the issue. It only weakens the argument for homosexual rights and reinforces the belief that homosexual sex is abnormal.
Simply because it appears that people are grasping for straws.

Which they are and then they're cramming their newly found ideas down our throats. Pretty much forcing us to act as if we don't think gay sex is normal. Which is the only problem I have with the whole issue.

If homosexuality cant be helped, explain why it cant. Let the world know your story so they wont avoid you on the street.

that you think that homosexuals need help to get over their homosexuality I think speaks much larger volumes than the large block of funky test you just posted.
Me?

I didn't say they need to get help. I pointed out that it's viewed upon as such.
The text is only funky because I'm here in funky town baby! Any other forums would have a completely comprehensible post.
I consider this my Jerry Springer forum and like to visit it for that reason.

Notice, I don't come here often.

I can relate to what you say, I have no problem with gay men and don't feel the slightest bit uncomfortable around, well, anyone really, but I'd feel quite uncomfortable having sex with another man. Probably deeply ingrained societal influences are behind that, and it would be pretty hard to shake off now at my age, but what is your point exactly and why is homosexuality worse?

You say you're older now? And you didn't see the point? Really?

You think you would be uncomfortable having gay sex only because of "deeply ingrained societal influences"
For real? You blame society for that?

Huh. You wont get the point then. "Next!"

No, I don't, try clarifying yourself instead of answering questions with questions.

It's not about blame. I'm naturally attracted to women, no question about that. But lets say a gay guy offers me oral sex... I wouldn't accept probably ever, but when I think about it what difference would it make if it was a male or a female offering? I can only think it is societal influences that would make me completely uncomfortable if it was a guy performing it.

Huh. You wont get the point then. "Next!"

There's the biochemical and psychological side unrelated to societal influence to consider. You're not attracted to males. male pheromones don't cause a reaction in you. Sex is as much about our minds as it is our bodies.
